Acceptable Use Policy

Our Services are designed to help individuals create, manage, and optimize their resumes and other career-related documents. Acceptable uses of our Services include:

• Creating, editing, and storing your personal resume and career documents
• Using our templates and AI assistance for your job application materials
• Tracking your job applications and managing your job search process
• Sharing your career documents with potential employers or recruiters
• Accessing career advice, resume tips, and job search strategies
• Providing feedback on our Services to help us improve

Any use of our Services that is not specifically prohibited under this Policy and that complies with our Terms of Service is generally considered acceptable.

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party
• Create false, misleading, or fabricated information in resumes or career documents, including but not limited to false employment history, fabricated degrees or certifications, or misrepresented skills and qualifications
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to any other person or entity, or allow others to access your account
• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code or engage in any activity that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper functioning of our Services
• Engage in unauthorized automated use of the system, such as using scripts, bots, or scrapers to collect information, except for the authorized use of our Flow automated job application feature
• Abuse the Flow feature by submitting excessive applications, spamming employers, violating employer application terms, or using the feature in ways that could harm Resumine's reputation or relationships with job boards and employers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our Services, other accounts, computer systems, or networks, or attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
• Use our Services to generate spam, unsolicited communications, or bulk emails to recruiters or employers outside of the intended Flow feature functionality
• Sell, trade, resell, or exploit for any commercial purposes any part of our Services or access to our Services without our express written permission
• Use our Services to store or transmit inappropriate or illegal content, including content that is discriminatory, hateful, or harassing on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our Services or attempt to discover the source code or underlying algorithms
• Use our Services in any manner that violates the terms of service of third-party services we integrate with (e.g., job boards, AI providers, email services)

When using our Services, you are responsible for ensuring that the content you create, upload, or store complies with the following guidelines:

• Accuracy: Your resume and career documents should contain truthful and accurate information about your education, skills, experience, and qualifications.
• Originality: Content should be your own original work or content for which you have permission to use. Plagiarizing others' resumes or work is prohibited.
• Appropriateness: Content should be professional and appropriate for potential employers or recruiters. Avoid offensive, provocative, or inappropriate language or images.
• Privacy: Respect others' privacy by not including personal information about others without their consent.
• Legality: Content must not violate any laws or regulations, including but not limited to copyright laws, privacy laws, and anti-discrimination laws.

AI-Generated Content: If you use our AI features to generate resume content, cover letters, or other materials, you remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy of all AI-generated content. AI-generated content should never be used without thorough review and customization.

Resumine reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or our Terms of Service, and may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these content guidelines.

Resumine reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor our Services for violations of this Policy. We may use automated systems, AI-based detection, and manual review to identify potential violations. We may investigate any reported or suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to:

• Issuing warnings or requesting modifications to content or behavior
• Removing or disabling access to content
• Suspending or terminating access to some or all of our Services
• Reporting violations to law enforcement authorities as appropriate
• Taking legal action against persistent violators

Resumine may disclose any information necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect Resumine, our users, or the public.

No Obligation to Monitor: While we reserve the right to monitor content and activity, we are not obligated to do so and cannot guarantee that all violations will be detected or addressed. Users are responsible for their own conduct and compliance with this Policy.

If you observe or suspect any violation of this Policy, please report it to us immediately by contacting hello@resumineapp.com. Please provide as much information as possible to help us address the issue, including:

• The nature of the violation and any relevant evidence (such as screenshots)
• When and how you discovered the violation, including URLs or locations within our Services
• Any identifying information about the alleged violator, if available
• Any other information that might help us investigate the matter

We appreciate your help in keeping our services safe and appropriate for all users.

Resumine reserves the right to update or modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to registered users where reasonably feasible.
